Physicians

Dr. John F. Buckley is a graduate of the University of Nebraska College of Medicine where he also completed his General Surgical Residency. He served on the faculty of the Department of Surgery at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine for two years following residency. He has been in private practice in Lincoln since 1986. One of the founding physicians of Prairie Surgical Associates, his special interests includes laparoscopic surgery and breast surgery.

Dr. Kevin R. Mota is a graduate of the University of Nebraska College of Medicine and received his surgical training at the University of Nebraska Hospitals where he was the recipient of the Herbert H. Davis Scholarship for Outstanding Chief Resident. He spent 10 years in private practice and as a Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery with Creighton University prior to returning to Lincoln and joining Prairie Surgical Associates in 2000. He has been certified by the American Board of Surgery since 1991 and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons since 1992. His special interests include breast and trauma surgery.
